The Challenge
FinServe Plus offered a complex enterprise financial tool. They were bleeding budget on generic Google Search terms ("financial software") that yielded terrible conversions. Leads were largely unqualified small-business owners, wasting their sales team’s time. They needed to strictly filter out low-tier traffic and exclusively acquire enterprise deals.
The Strategy
We implemented a two-pillar orchestration. First, we aggressively negative-matched over 4,000 "cheap" keywords on Google Ads, narrowing match-types to ultra-high commercial intent queries. Second, we took the resulting high-intent search traffic and piped them into a 90-day LinkedIn retargeting funnel, using Job Title and Company Size filters to guarantee only decision-makers saw the creative.
The Execution
The results were immediate. While top-of-funnel traffic dropped by 40%, the Lead-to-Opportunity conversion rate skyrocketed. The sales pipeline flooded with CFOs and VPs of Finance from target accounts. The blended Cost Per Lead dropped by 62%, finally allowing FinServe to profitably scale their ad budget.
